I lived in my car for several months after my (then) wife and I split, preparing for divorce. To help me through that experience, I started publishing one piece of poetry, prose poetry, or short fiction per day on my blog, “Field Notes Post-Apocalypse.”

I was hoping to reach 1,000 days in a row, but had a child in the late 80s, and then finding myself UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, made it to maybe 937. Close enough to claim success!

Now defunct, these pieces came out of that journey. I solicited help from Jordan Richter, a friend and engineer from Portland, who I’d worked with for many years on Andi’s music.
